London Transport Museum - London’s Transport at War - October 2020

The new Transport at War gallery which tells the important historical stories about life during wartime, featuring posters, photographs and objects from the Museum’s collection.

The gallery includes some new interactive displays which are great for helping our younger visitors understand this important period of history. An atmospheric sheltering AV experience reveals what life was like for Londoners seeking refuge in Underground stations during wartime air raids, plus visitors can make their own Tube station shelter ticket to take home with them.
